You should only spray Optrex ActiMist™ Eye Spray onto closed eyes, but if you get it on your open eye, don't worry. It may sting a little at first but this will soon pass and it won't harm your eyes.
How do I know it's working?
Optrex ActiMist™ Eye Spray is unlike eye drops or artificial tears, which flood the eye with moisture right away, ActiMist is sprayed onto closed eyes, the Liposomes migrate to the lid margin and as you blink they are spread across your tear film, repairing any damage.
Why does Optrex ActiMist™ Eye Spray smell slightly?
Optrex ActiMist™ Eye Spray contains Liposomes which are made of a similar solution as your natural tear film. These Liposomes are oil based and so you may notice a slight smell - this is normal and should dissipate.
How can I make Optrex ActiMist™ Eye Spray extra refreshing?
Some people enjoy using Optrex ActiMist™ Eye Spray at a cool temperature. You can put the spray bottle in the refrigerator for an hour or so before use. Just make sure you keep it between 2°C and 25°C.
